One of the overall themes of the lessons God is teaching me through this season of life is "responsibility." I want to live my life as a boy: having someone else tell me what to do, when to do it, how to do it, to do the hard things for me, to basically let me do whatever I want with most of my time and only occasionally do what "needs" to be done.
Don't hear me wrong; sewing a button back onto my shirt doesn't mean that I'm a responsible person now, but it was a neat little moment in my life where I simply saw something that needed to be done and I sat down to do it. I had to get some help, but I didn't stop until I was done and it felt pretty cool.
