It's probably because I just don't like too much consistency I've been growing my hair out again. Since the fist time I shaved my head completely (11th grade!) My hair has really never looked all that "good." It's also never been very long either. So, maybe, I say to myself, growing it out will cover the receding hairline, add some pizazz, and develop into an redeemable hairstyle. Like the last time I grew my hair out (10th grade) the most annoying part was the months of ugliness in between the short and the long. I'm hoping to let it go through the winter months (trimming here and there to keep it from looking unkempt).
Also, I'm growing the beard back.
Also, I'm going to be the best man in my friend Zack's wedding in early November.
I'm thinking that mid-late October I'm going to have to seriously evaluate what it all looks like and get rid of it all with enough time for it to normalize for the wedding.
