I had a nice, long, and restful break!
Going back home near Philadelphia was great! I feel as though I got to see the most amount of people without overbooking myself. I was not too busy, but still had a delightful time seeing a large amount of my family and friends. My father and I took in cheese-steaks and a hockey game downtown! I actually drove up to NYC to visit with my brother for three days and two nights (the two of us haven't been able to hang out as just the two of us without the rest of the family for years!). I had my five-year High School Reunion. There was a good number of us who had moved away and it was a blessing to catch up with people I don't usually talk to online or on the phone. My Grandmother hosted 14 of the Knox clan at her apartment for our annual Christmas brunch Reunion and gift exchange. It was terrific to spend time with my 1-year old second cousin (I believe that's my relationship to him) and to get to know my other cousin's finance better. It was a great day!
It was fun getting adjusted to my parents new home in Collegeville. I got to spend good times with some of my friends too. One of my friends and I actually dug up some footage that we shot in 2004. I ended up spending some of my January break editing it together - something I really enjoy doing:
